Ema, a 29 year old traveller who shares her adventures online as @emaonthemove, recently posted a clip of a takeaway in her new hometown of Gothenburg, Sweden. The spot? Thai Tanic — a pun on the infamous Titanic. The 1912 ship disaster, which claimed over 1,500 lives, is famously remembered through the 1997 blockbuster starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet. But this eatery’s cheeky twist on the name had people laughing instead of crying.
