HONOLULU (KHON2) — A 42-year-old man has been arrested and charged with attempted murder following an incident in the Kalihi area on September 26, 2024.
The arrest took place on October 2 at 10 a.m.
According to police reports, the suspect intentionally drove his vehicle into multiple victims at approximately 5:31 p.m. on the day of the incident.
Two victims, aged 25 and 43, were involved, with one sustaining minor injuries.
The suspect was positively identified and located by authorities before being taken into custody.
However, prosecutors declined to pursue charges against him as of 12:30 p.m. on October 3, 2024.
The investigation remains ongoing.
