WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – If you noticed big crowds at New England’s great state fair this year that’s because you were one of the more than 1 million visitors.
More than 1.6 Million people walked the fairgrounds this year. That is an all-time attendance record for the fair.
Seven daily attendance records were also set during the 17-day event. The fair also saw one single-day attendance record.
