The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) is hosting its annual Fall Festival today, Friday, Oct. 4. The event will transform the CDTA building, 110 Watervliet Avenue, into a fall themed environment for the community and youth from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10)– The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) is hosting its annual Fall Festival today, Friday, Oct. 4. The event will transform the CDTA building, 110 Watervliet Avenue, into a fall themed environment for the community and youth from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The event will feature a drive tank, a harvest hayride, carnival games, a petting zoo and refreshments. The CDTA is set to welcome around 400 school-aged children from different Capital Region school districts to the event.
Students will learn about the buses, safety and learn how to ride a CDTA bus in the future. Local first responders will also be in attendance to teach the students about safety.
