My father/mother (english speaking foreigners) retired to central Chiangmai several years ago, but recently my father’s health has declined a lot and my mother got injured while caring for him. He has lost a lot of muscle control but keeps trying to get out of bed, so I suspect dementia is starting.
My mother is adamant in trying to care for my father by herself but she’s clearly not able to anymore. She also seems against a live-in helper, under some misguided notions of Thai privacy cultural boundaries.
At this point I think the only viable options are nurse helpers (not necessarily registered nurses, but need to be big guys to carry my father) in shifts for near 24 hour support without living there, or working out how to get into a nursing home in the Chiangmai area on short notice. I think my mother would prefer a place not far from central Chaingmai so she can easily get a grab taxi to reach the nursing home, and seems disinclined to live at the nursing home.
I am currently outside Thailand but will fly in shortly to help for a little while, but this is my first time in Thailand so there’s so much I don’t know. I am afraid the rate of my father’s decline is accelerating so I may need to think about hospice care.
Anyone have good advice in general for caring for an elderly frail/bed ridden parent in Chaingmai?
I googled up the following two helper services but anyone have experiences with them?

Googling for nursing homes was kinda hit-or-miss. The following three seem to be near central Chiangmai, any others tend to be located at the edge of town or beyond though (though I may need to consider them too). I think this is the right info for the three but I might be wrong? Anything important about these three I should be paying attention to?
