SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Trinity United Methodist Church will be hosting its second annual Pumpkin Patch Festival on Saturday.

According to Trinity United Methodist Church, the pumpkin festival will be held on the front lawn and will bring the Springfield community and surrounding towns together for a day of fun. At the event, there will be hundreds of locally grown pumpkins on display.

Some of the festival highlights include:

Pumpkins and Mums – Purchase your fall décor and get ready for the season.

Pumpkin Painting – Children can paint their own pumpkins to take home.

Scarecrow Photo Op – Capture memories with Mr. Scarecrow at the dedicated photo
booth.

Craft Vendors – Browse a variety of handmade goods and seasonal items from dozens of
local artisans.

Games & Activities – Kids can win prizes, make s’mores, and enjoy the bounce house.

Face Painting – A chance for both children and adults to get creative and festive.

Silent Auction – Bid on beautifully curated, themed gift baskets.

Tour – Tour the beautiful Gothic cathedral and learn about its history.

Food Trucks – Satisfy your hunger with a variety of delicious food truck offerings.

Apple Crisp and Cider – Don’t forget to indulge in our wide selection of baked goods or
a homemade serving of warm apple crisp with ice cream for dessert!

The event is free to enter and offers free parking. The festival will run from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at 361 Sumner Avenue in Springfield.

“We’re excited to see this festival grow as a cherished event for the community,” said Fred
Lewis, Event Coordinator. “It’s a wonderful opportunity for families to come together, enjoy the
fall season, and support local vendors and farmers.”
