SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – The 55th annual “CROP Hunger Walk” will take place on Sunday at Trinity United Methodist Church in Springfield.


33rd annual Taste of Italy celebrates Italian Heritage Month

The walk will be emceed by our very own 22News Storm Team Jack Wu! This movement is made up of compassionate people from more than 500 communities across the United States.

The goal is to provide life-saving support including emergency food and resources, along with seeds, tools, and programs that will help families feed themselves in the future. For a $20 donation, a family will be supplied with chickens for a constant supply of eggs. $30 will equip a household with a water filter for a constant supply of clean water, and $60 will supply three families with home gardening to raise nutritious veggies.

Registration starts at 1:00 p.m. with the walk starting at 2:00 p.m.
