Rain chances going forward are on the low side, but there are a few opportunities this week for us to pick up some much-needed rainfall.

Scattered showers from the overnight hours continue to push east this morning behind a cold front that moved through. In wake of this disturbance, breezy conditions are expected for several days. Rain chances going forward are on the low side, but there are a few opportunities this week for us to pick up some much-needed rainfall.
It will turn breezy this afternoon with gusts from the west-northwest up to 30 MPH. This, in spite of the mild start to the day, will keep temperatures from climbing all that much, with most of the region staying in the 60s. A spotty shower or two is possible up to the northwest.
A seasonable night is in store as temperatures drop to the low to mid 40s, with some upper 30s in the higher spots. We will have even chillier mornings for the remainder of the work week! A persistent light wind overnight should prevent valley fog formation for Tuesday morning.
Another somewhat breezy day is expected Tuesday with temperatures struggling to climb into the low 60s. A few, hit-or-miss PM showers are expected to develop, particularly northwest of Albany.
Wednesday and Thursday will be the coolest days we’ve had yet, with a lot of areas struggling to even reach the 60 degree mark! Both days will also continue with the breezy theme under a mix of sun and clouds. We expect a few showers to develop north of Albany on Wednesday, but rainfall amounts don’t look to amount to anything substantial.
Temperatures start to rebound as we conclude the week, with another 70 degree day possible by next weekend. Early indications are that we should have yet another weekend with nice weather!
