A check from Hyundai Hope on Wheels is going to the Ronald McDonald House worth $10,000.

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – A check from Hyundai Hope on Wheels is going to the Ronald McDonald House worth $10,000.

This helps support the Ronald McDonald’s House mission of providing a home away from home for families, while their child gets treated at a nearby hospital or medical facility. The Ronald Mcdonald House saw nearly 1,600 families come through their doors last year. The Chief Executive Officer, Michelle D’Amore tells 22News, that she’s excited these funds will help the organization to keep making an impact.

“We really provide the comfort and the kindness and the warm embrace to those families who need a little downtime and caring themselves,” said D’Amore.

More money will be raised for the Ronald McDonald House during the Gary Rome Hyundai Tree of Hope event, which takes place November 8th through the 22nd.
