ISLE OF PALMS, S.C. (WCBD) – What is your favorite Lowcountry ghost story? Gather your family, friends, and fiends for a trip to the beach this Friday for a spooky evening of ghostly tide tales.

The Isle of Palms Recreation Department is hosting a night of ghost stories around a campfire on Front Beach.

People are invited to bring their blankets, chairs, and flashlights for the October 11th event at the beach access near the Sea Cabins.


Restless servicemen rumored to be roaming the USS Yorktown

“This is a perfect event for the entire family! Come for the spooky fun and stay for the beach vibes,” said Isle of Palms recreation leaders.

The fun begins at 6 p.m.
