FRANKFORT, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Kentuckians have until 4:00 PM Monday to register to vote in the upcoming general election, as announced by state officials. Voter registration can be completed online through the state’s official website.

Secretary of State Michael Adams highlighted that September saw more than 24,000 new voters register. However, this figure is a decrease compared to September 2020, which recorded more than 54,000 new registrations.

Currently, Republicans make up 47% of registered voters, while Democrats account for 43%.

The general election is scheduled for November 5th.
