Hawaii hit the road again for another road contest on Thursday.

The University of Hawaii soccer team maintained its winning ways with a 1-0 victory at UC San Diego on Thursday.

Hawaii improved to 9-6 overall and 5-0 Big West, increasing its winning streak to seven, tying a program record. Meanwhile, its 5-0 conference start is the best in program history.

Nalani Damacion scored in the 25th minute for the Rainbow Wahine, giving the ‘Bows a 1-0 advantage at halftime, a lead that held for the duration of the contest. Damacion has scored five game-winning goals for the Rainbow Wahine in 2024.

Hawaii also an opponent scoreless for the fourth contest in a row, moving to first place in the Big West standings.

Hawaii will remain on the road and face UC Irvine on Sunday at 3 p.m. HST.
