RIO RANCHO, N.M. (KRQE) – The union representing staff at the University of New Mexico Sandoval Regional Medical Center said it has reached a tentative labor deal with the hospital. The union said the agreement was reached late last night and will cover around 400 nurses and other health professionals at the hospital.


New Mexico crews head to Florida and Georgia for hurricane relief efforts

Both sides had been at odds for months but returned to the bargaining table in mid-September. The union said it would not reveal the terms of the contract until its members vote to approve it. UNM Hospital said it expects to have a statement by Monday.
