LEXINGTON, KY. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) –  No. 12 Kentucky was swept by No. 7 Texas 3-0 (25-21, 25-19, 25-17) on Sunday afternoon inside Historic Memorial Coliseum.

Sunday marked the first time all season UK has been swept, and unfortunately, it was in front of 4,834 fans; the sixth-largest crowd in program history.

The Longhorns finished with a .281 hitting percentage, and held the Kentucky offense to just .089 hitting with 32 kills and a season-high 23 attack errors for a set of four sets or less.

The cats are now 9-7 overall and 3-2 in the SEC. Next up Kentucky visits Tennessee in Knoxville on October 16th at 6:30pm.
