SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – The Springfield Fire Department was sent to a porch fire Saturday evening.
According to the Springfield Fire Department, at 5:12 p.m., crews were sent to 29 Ledyard Street for a porch fire. The fire was put out and there were no reported injuries.
No residents were left without a home and the cause of the fire was determined by the Springfield Arson and Bomb Squad to be improper disposal of smoking material.
