Art is a communication tool to encourage viewers to reflect on their own role in society and the environment during “Adaptation: The Coexistence Of Trace And Transformation”, which is running at Noble Play, until Jan 26 next year.
The exhibition depicts the evolution of an expanding metropolis through the most recent work of Wishulada Panthanuvong, an environmental artist who challenges conventional thinking by transforming waste materials into valuable artworks.
The environment bears witness to transformations due to human activity and urbanisation. Despite the damage, Wishulada turns the rubble into a beacon of hope, with the inscription “Trace”, while the message “Transformation” from past mistakes seeks to guide people away from destructive habits and towards a more sustainable way of life.
