LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW)- Montavin Quisenberry, a three star wide receiver from Boyle County, has flipped his commitment from West Virginia to Kentucky per his X account.

“After careful consideration and talks with my family, I have decided to decommit from West Virginia University. The decision was not made lightly as I have tremendous respect for the WVU coaching staff and team,” wrote the new Wildcat in his post.

The decision comes after Quisenberry was in attendance at the Kentucky versus Vanderbilt game on October 12. According to 24/7 Sports, his choice to flip comes within six months of committing to the Mountaineers.

Quisenberry offered by Kentucky in October 2022 and had an unofficial visit in March 2024 according to 24/7 Sports.

Kentucky now has 20 hard commits in its 2025 recruiting class and are ranked 21st in the nation.
