ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The city is looking for volunteers to help clean up a school garden for the students this weekend. The City of Albuquerque’s Parks and Recreation Department and One Albuquerque are asking for volunteers to help spruce up the Van Buren Middle School garden near Lousiana Blvd., just south of Central Ave.
Volunteers would help them clear out weeds, trim bushes, and beautify walkways. No gardening experience is necessary. The event kicks off this Saturday at 8:30 a.m. To sign up to volunteer, click this link.
