NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WWLP) – A man from New Bedford is the winner of a $20,000 a Month for 10 Years prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “Decade of Dollars” $10 instant ticket game.


Tax incentives announced for life science companies in Mass.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Barry Seguin of New Bedford chose the annuity option on his prize and received his first year of payments of $240,000, before taxes. Next October, he will start to receive monthly payments of $20,000 for the next nine years. Seguin said that he plans on investing his winnings.

The winning ticket was purchased at Cumberland Farms on Acushnet Ave in New Bedford. The Cumberland Farms will receive a $24,000 bonus for the sale of the winning ticket.
