ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Democrat Chloe Pierce is trying to unseat the republican incumbent in the State Assembly’s 107th district. In the November General Election, she is trying to beat Scott Bendett, who ran unopposed two years ago.

Pierce, who is an activist and lobbyist, says if elected, she wants to focus on public safety, healthcare, clean energy and what she calls the biggest issue in the district, affordability.

Pierce sat down with News10’s Christina Arangio to discuss the issues facing the 107th district, which encompasses Albany, Rensselaer, Columbia and Washington Counties.
