NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – The election is almost here which is why the New Mexico Secretary of State’s office and the New Mexico Attorney General are providing information to help people cast their ballots.

The departments teamed up to create a voter information guide. It details who can vote and how someone can register. The guide also tells voters their rights and what to do if they see any wrongdoing such as bribes or coercion at polling sites. It also lays out all the dates and deadlines people need to know.

People can currently vote at certain locations or request a mail-in ballot. Expanded early voting starts Saturday. Election day is November 5.
