I am travelling to Chiang Mai with my family ( 2 adults 2 young teens) this July. Looking for advice…should we stay in town or stay in the outskirts? It seems east to get a Grab and I am thinking it will be more peaceful and relaxing to stay out of town, but would I be missing out on the true Chiang Mai experience if I don’t stay in the old town?
