The Latest Storm Tracker Forecast from Meteorologist Kevin Appleby:

A strong ridge of high pressure keeps us clear and comfortable from start to finish this weekend! Temperatures continue to trend warmer through the middle of the work week before a cold front brings us back to reality.

Despite the chilly start, that sun is going to do its thing and warm us up well into the 60s, close to the 70s before all is said and done. It will be a challenge to find a cloud today!

Clear skies and calm winds are forecast again tonight, so temperatures will plummet as they have done for the past three nights. This will allow temperatures to drop into the 30s, but I expect most areas to stay above freezing into Sunday morning.

Just like this morning, there could be some patchy valley fog to kick off the day. Temperatures end up 1-3 degrees warmer Sunday compared to Saturday, which should equate to more 70+ degree high temperatures across our region with a ton of sunshine.

If you don’t reach the 70 degree mark Sunday, many areas will by Monday and especially Tuesday with highs climbing into the mid 70s. Both days will continue the theme of mostly sunny days and clear nights.

Clouds thicken late Wednesday, another warm day, ahead on a cold front which moves through during the AM hours of Thursday. There will be a few rain showers with this front, particularly for the first half of Thursday, but rainfall amounts don’t look all that impressive at this time. Breezy and cooler conditions are on tap to round out the work week…much more late-October-like.
