GREENFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Two pedestrians have been seriously injured after a hit-and-run incident in Greenfield on Friday.

According to the Greenfield Police Department, on Friday at approximately 3:34 p.m., police and fire crews were called to a hit-and-run on Country Club Road near Barton Road. Two pedestrians were seriously injured and were taken to Baystate Medical Center.

The driver, 55-year-old Vladimir Sinigur of Greenfield was charged with the following:

2 counts of hit-and-run personal injury

1 count of hit-and-run property damage

Negligent operation of a motor vehicle

Unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle

The identities of the two injured have not yet been released.
