The Springfield Police Youth Aid Bureau is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 78-year-old Adella Bapiste, who has been reported missing.

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – The Springfield Police Youth Aid Bureau is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 78-year-old Adella Bapiste, who has been reported missing.

Bapiste was last seen near Virginia Street and is believed to be at risk due to medical issues and dementia.

Bapiste was last spotted wearing black pants with an orange and white pattern, a white t-shirt, and a gray fleece jacket. Police are particularly concerned for her safety as she is new to the area and may be disoriented.

The Springfield Police urge anyone with information on Bapiste’s whereabouts to contact detectives immediately at 413-787-6360 or reach out to the non-emergency line at 413-787-6300.
