WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Hits like “Cold as Ice,” and “Waiting for a Girl Like You” will be rocking The Big E Arena by members of the band Foreigner.

The British-American rock band will be coming to the West Springfield fairgrounds to perform on Sunday, September 21, 2025. Tickets will officially go on sale this Friday at 10:00 a.m. on The Big E website.

The band was formed in 1976 by guitarist Mick Jones who produced 10 multi-platinum albums Although the original members no longer tour, many of them have been with the band for over 10 years. They still rock the charts with audio and video streams exceeding 15 million per week.


Rock & Roll Hall of Fame turns up starpower to induct Cher, Foreigner, Mary J. Blige, Ozzy and more

According to the Associated Press, last Saturday a ceremony was held to induct Foreigner into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, amongst others including pop icon Cher, heavy metal’s Ozzy Osbourne, hip-hop soul queen Mary J. Blige, and 83-year-old soul icon Dionne Warwick.

During the 39th annual Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, Sammy Hagar introduced Foreigner and thanked their fans for their tenacity in demanding inclusion.

Hagar noted that Foreigner currently tours without any original members. “That’s how good the songs are,” he said. “Who deserves this more than Foreigner?” Demi Lovato and Slash joined the touring Foreigner for “Feels Like the First Time” and Hagar then took the lead for “Hot Blooded.”

The 109th Big E Fair will run from September 12 through September 28.
