One of Metro’s “Most Wanted” fugitives has been arrested for aggravated burglary.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — One of the youngest people to appear on the Metro Nashville Police Department’s (MNPD) “Most Wanted” fugitives list has been arrested, according to police.

Joshua Starkey, 19, was wanted by Metro police for aggravated robbery with a weapon. He was last listed on the “Most Wanted” list Oct. 9, after being added to the list in July.

According to an affidavit, Starkey burglarized the Mellow Vibes smoke shop in Hermitage in November of 2023. He reportedly entered the store wearing a “grim reaper type Halloween costume,” telling the employee he wanted “everything” from the employee inside the store.

Starkey reportedly stole between $300 and $500 worth of THC-A flower while brandishing a handgun at the employee.

According the affidavit, the store owner recognized Starkey as a regular customer.

Starkey was apprehended out of county, according to MNPD, and was booked into the Metro Jail Monday, Oct. 21.

His apprehension is the latest arrest made since the “Most Wanted” list first began publishing in 2022. Since its inception, the list has aided police in the apprehension of at least 137 arrests since Oct. 19, 2022.
