WESTFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Election Day is right around the corner and this has led to some anxiety among U.S. voters.

Some voters are experiencing anxiety and stress as it approaches the election and psychologists are saying they are seeing more patients come in to talk about it. This comes as there have been several political advertisements and messages sent to phones regarding the election.

To help get rid of this election stress, psychologists are recommending that people keep up with their sleep, exercise, and nutrition, while also taking a step away from things like election emails and social media ads.

But while some are experiencing anxiety and stress Bernie from Westfield says he is not, “I am not stressed. There is so much wrong that I don’t think there should be any stress. It should be pretty easy to figure out.”

Hartnett says it’s important for everyone to get out there and vote for this presidential election. He says if you don’t vote in the election don’t complain when the results come in.
