COLLETON COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) — State troopers are investigating a fatal collision in Colleton County Wednesday night.
A 2015 Chrysler sedan was traveling east on Phillips Road near Walterboro when it traveled off the right side of the road around 6 p.m.
The sedan then struck a ditch and flipped before crashing into a tree.
The driver was the only occupant of the vehicle and died as a result of the collision, according to Master Trooper Brandon Bolt.
The Colleton County Coroner’s Office has not released the identity of the deceased. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating this collision.
