A Thai husband in the Isaan province of Buriram is ready to forgive his wife after discovering she was having an affair with a drug-addicted monk. Unfortunately, his wife chased him out of their home and attempted to bail the monk out of detention.
The husband, 31 year old Tone, filed a complaint against 37 year old monk Ek after the monk sent him explicit videos of himself having sex with Tone’s wife. Lahan Sai Police Station, along with a community leader, raided the temple yesterday, October 21.
Ek admitted to communicating with the married woman but denied sending the videos to Tone. The monk also tested positive for drugs, leading the police to defrock him and begin legal proceedings. He was subsequently detained at the police station.
