Two women were arrested and charged with prostitution-related offenses after police conducted an investigation at an Enfield Spa on Wednesday.

ENFIELD, Conn. (WWLP) – Two women were arrested and charged with prostitution-related offenses after police conducted an investigation at an Enfield Spa on Wednesday.

According to police, Enfield Community Police Officers (CPO), alongside the Detective Division and East Central Narcotics Unit (ECN), conducted a targeted investigation at the Oasis Wellness Spa on North Main Street Wednesday.

The operation was initiated following complaints and information indicating suspected prostitution activities at the spa.

As a result of the investigation, two adult women were arrested and charged with prostitution-related offenses.

Li Shi Han, 52, of New York, NY, was charged with prostitution and conspiracy to commit prostitution.

Xiang Chun Huang, 56, of Flushing, NY, was charged with permitting prostitution and conspiracy to commit prostitution under the same statutes.

Both suspects were held on $10,000 bonds and are scheduled to be arraigned on October 24, 2024, in Hartford.
