With a high pressure over the Midwest today, you might want a light jacket, as highs will peak in the mid to upper 60s with sunny skies.  You won’t need your jacket Friday though, as the same high pressure scoots into the eastern US with warm air advection bumping afternoon highs near 80.  A cold front will sweep across the area Friday bringing an isolated chance for rain during the afternoon and evening hours.

Sunshine returns for the weekend along with fall like temperatures with highs back in the mid 60s Saturday and Sunday.  Warmer temperatures head back our way as we start the work week next week with highs in the mid 70s and lots of sunshine.
