A three-car collision in Springfield on Thursday night resulted in minor injuries, according to authorities.

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – A three-car collision in Springfield on Thursday night resulted in minor injuries, according to authorities.

The crash occurred just before 7 p.m. at the intersection of Shattuck and College Streets. Multiple police cruisers and emergency services were called to the scene, where the three vehicles involved had sustained extensive damage.

The area was temporarily closed to traffic as first responders assisted those involved. Springfield Fire Captain Drew Piemonte confirmed that all individuals suffered only minor injuries.
