In the summer of 2022 Yasmin Marquez was found dead in Sandoval County after having gone missing for two months. Martinez was arrested and charged with first degree murder. Investigators say cell phone records put Martinez at the crime scene. The trial began Monday and is scheduled to conclude Friday.
