Drivers using the Coolidge Bridge (Route 9) connecting Northampton and Hadley should expect traffic delays next week.
NORTHAMPTON, Mass. (WWLP)– Drivers using the Coolidge Bridge (Route 9) connecting Northampton and Hadley should expect traffic delays next week.
The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) will be performing bridge inspections on the bridge. There will be lane closures, reducing travel to one land in each direction.
The westbound right lane will be closed on Monday, October 28, and Tuesday, October 29, and the eastbound right lane closed Wednesday, October 30, through Friday, November 1, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day.
There will be signs and messaging in place to inform drivers. The work is weather dependent and subject to change without notice.
