The 2025 West Springfield St. Patrick’s Parade Committee organized its first trivia fundraiser to raise money for the upcoming parade.

WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – The 2025 West Springfield St. Patrick’s Parade Committee organized its first trivia fundraiser to raise money for the upcoming parade.

At the Tatham Club, the community came together, purchasing tickets for trivia and raffles to support the committee. All funds raised will help the organization build a memorable parade float and support the Colleen Contest.

22News spoke with Chris Thompson, President of the committee, about the significance of community support.

“It’s good because it’s nice to have the community support because they stand behind the West Springfield St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee, and they also support the Colleens, which is the biggest part of the whole thing,” said Thompson.

The 72nd Holyoke St. Patrick’s Parade is set to kick off on Sunday, March 23, 2025.
