HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — The Henrico County Police Division is investigating after a man was killed in a shooting on Grand Ledge Court.
At around 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 16, Henrico Police responded to the 4600 block of Grand Ledge Court for the report of a shooting. When officers arrived on scene, they discovered a man with “obvious trauma,” an initial release from police said.
Later, a spokesperson for Henrico Police said the incident is now being classified as a homicide following the victim’s death. The identity of the victim is being withheld pending the notification of the next of kin.
