What We’re Tracking

Hot & breezy for Monday

Few mid-week storm chances.

Staying hot and humid

Mostly clear and mild weather this morning with temperatures falling back into the lower to middle 70s. Winds are out of the south from 10-20 mph not allowing us to cool us much more this morning.

We look to hold on to the heat into early next week. Heat index values will continue to approach 100° as we have very limited rain chances and not much relief in sight. Make sure if you have to be outside to take frequent breaks in the shade and stay hydrated! There should be a fairly strong southerly wind at 15-25mph for Monday afternoon, which will help it feel a little better.

Isolated storms are possible late Tuesday after another hot day. By Wednesday, we should start to see more of an active weather pattern take place that will give us a few chances for rain by the end of the week. This should ‘cool’ us down into the upper 80s and lower 90s, although, still above average.
