The North Dakota Capitol Mall is planning for an incredible night of fun, fireworks, and music for the Fourth of July.

BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) — The North Dakota Capitol Mall is planning for an incredible night of fun, fireworks, and music for the Fourth of July.

“We invite one and all to join the Bismarck Mandan Symphony Orchestra’s celebration of the founding of our great nation,” said the Executive Director of Bismarck Mandan Symphony Orchestra (BMSO), Mike Gardner.

The night will have a selection of patriotic, pop, and country music, as well as a recognition of all those who served in the United States Armed Forces.

Here is the schedule for the evening:

7:45 p.m. is Braveheart Band

9 p.m. is the Bismarck AMVETS Presentation of the Colors, National Anthem, Bismarck Mandan Symphony Orchestra, guest artists Zachary Turner and Jase Kesler

Dark (approximately 10:30 p.m.) is the fireworks show


Grand Marshal and theme announced for July 4 parade

“The Bismarck Mandan area is home to an incredible group of musicians and this 4th of July event is our opportunity to showcase that talent while celebrating the freedom and opportunity given to all of us as citizens of the United States of America,” said Conductor and Music Director of BMSO, Dr. Beverly Everett.

“Bring the family, friends, lawn chairs, and blankets and join us on the grass at the Capitol Mall where you will be treated to an outstanding lineup of performers with a grand finale of fireworks set to patriotic music,” added Gardner.

The event is free and open to the public, however, a free-will offering can be made at the BMSO tent.
