Police arrested a woman after they said she was threatening neighbors with a knife.

BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) — Police arrested a woman after they said she was threatening neighbors with a knife.

It happened on Thursday night when a person called the police saying a woman was outside with a knife along East Thayer Avenue.

Police showed up and talked to two people who said the woman, Taniya Red Eagle, pulled a knife on them and told them if they didn’t leave, she’d stab them.


St. Michael man sentenced to 32 years in federal prison

The two people told officers they hid from Red Eagle in their car, they said she then stabbed one of their rear tires.

An officer arrested Red Eagle and found a folding knife in her sleeve.

Redeagle was given a court-appointed attorney on Friday. She’s charged with terrorizing. She’ll be in court again next month.
