BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) — Eduardo Diaz, 32, Bismarck, who was scheduled to stand trial this week, changed his plea on Tuesday in Burleigh County District Court.

Diaz pled guilty to terrorizing and criminal mischief for an incident that happened last summer in Bismarck.

He was arrested in July 2023 for allegedly shooting his neighbor’s windows with a BB gun and threatening him.

Burleigh County Judge Cynthia Feland accepted the plea and sentenced Diaz to three years of supervised probation following his release from the Burleigh Morton Detention Center.

As part of his probation, Diaz can’t drink or show up at a place that serves alcohol. He is also barred from owning and using a firearm while on probation.
