TOPEKA (KSNT) – Investigations are underway as Topeka police responded to a report of gunshots Tuesday night.

On June 18th, officers from the Topeka Police Department (TPD) responded to a report of a shooting just before 11:00 p.m. near the intersection of Northeast Monroe Street and Northeast Gordon Street. 

Upon arrival, officers located one individual with a gunshot wound, and they were transported by American Medical Response (AMR) to a local hospital to be treated for life-threatening injuries. 

A spokesman for the TPD says all involved parties have been identified and are accounted for at this time in the investigation. 

The investigation is still ongoing. 27 News will provide more information as it becomes available.
