What We’re Tracking

Cooler Wednesday

Showers and storms

Heat back up for the weekend

A frontal boundary has stalled over northeast Kansas fueling showers and storms in the area. Temperatures this morning are in the upper 60s and lower 70s with wind out of the north in some areas and out of the south in others.

We will see on and off showers and storms throughout the day today and that will try to limit our daytime highs. Folks that see more rain can expect cooler highs with temperatures in the upper 70s and lower 80s. People that miss out on the majority on the rain could see highs in the middle to upper 80s.

Enjoy the cooler day because summer ramps up right on time. Heat builds in for the weekend. Highs climb back into the middle to upper 90s with feels like temperatures hotter than that. Next chance for rain after today comes in late Saturday night into early Sunday morning.
