BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) — A Sidewalk Chalk Art Class is being held for the 50th Annual Capital A’Fair.

According to a news release, the Bismarck Art & Galleries Association (BAGA) is hosting the call at the gallery on Monday, July 29 from 6-8 p.m.

Cherise Pfaff, a professional artist, will teach about the correct tools, planning, and making patterns to transfer art images to the sidewalk, as well as protecting the art and techniques for specific effects.

Once the class is complete, they will be asked to put their skills to the test on a section of the sidewalk that is reserved at the Captial A’Fair on August 3-4.

The class fee for BAGA members is $35 and $40 for non-members. A set of high-quality chalks is part of the fee.

BAGA is located at 422 E Front Avenue in Bismarck.

Online registration is required before Friday, July 12.
