HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — The Henrico County Police Division has released more information related to Saturday night’s shooting that left multiple people hospitalized.

Around 11:15 p.m. on Saturday, June 22, officers were called to the 11000 block of Old Washington Highway for a reported shooting.

On Sunday, June 23, Henrico Police shared a release that claimed six adult victims had been found with non-life-threatening injuries. However, on Monday, June 24, another release clarified that a sixth victim had been reported but was “unconfirmed at this time.”

“The 5 individuals that were transported with various non-life-threatening injuries continue to receive treatment for their injuries sustained from the shooting,” a police spokesperson said in Monday’s release.

Shortly after police arrived at the scene on Sunday, June 23, two persons of interest were reportedly detained.

“Currently, detectives are actively investigating every aspect of this incident and are working to understand what [led] up to the shooting,” Monday’s release reads. “Currently, there is no suspect information to share.”
