On September 11, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Don Mueang Airport, the Thai national men’s football team has returned to Thailand after completing the LP BANK CUP 2024 mission in Hanoi, Vietnam.
For the Thai national team, they won 2-1 over Vietnam with goals from Supanat Mueanta and Patrick Gustafsson. On this return trip, Patrick, Ekanit Panya and Elias Dolah have already traveled back separately.
After arriving, head coach Masatada Ishii said, “I feel sorry that we didn’t get to play against Russia, but with the situation in Vietnam where there are floods, it’s something we can’t fix.”
