LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A GoFundMe page has been set up to help support Rebecca Puryear, one of the victims of the mass shooting that occurred on I-75 in Laurel County last Saturday.
According to the GoFundMe page, Puryear was shot while in her vehicle, suffering chest and arm injuries. The organizer of the fundraiser shared that Puryear’s husband and four-year-old son, who were with her at the time of the shooting, were not injured.
So far, $500 has been raised to help Puryear with her medical and recovery expenses.
