WEST SAND LAKE, N.Y. (NEWS10) – It is a big weekend for comedy in the Capital Region.
Schenectady-born Dan Frigolette is one of the rising stars in the comedy world. He’s toured with some of the best on the scene, including Nate Bargatze and Tim Dillon, and has even appeared in shows like HBO’s “Boardwalk Empire” and “The Wendy Williams Show.”
Now, he’s coming home.
Saturday night, he’ll be performing at Black Sail Studios in Rotterdam, and on Sunday, he’ll be doing a “Comedy Brunch” at June Farms.
“Wherever there are people, we are ready to go,” Frigolette told NEWS10. “Putting it at a place like June Farms, while maybe it seems not logical or like top of mind, it’s going to be great.”
Frigolette telling NEWS10 he has fond memories of growing up in the Capital Region.
“I was trying to rack my brain for places that still exist from my childhood, and they’re all gone! Everything has changed,” Frigolette said. “The only places left are Union College and Jumpin’ Jacks, and then the big consistent thing for me in this area is hiking in the Adirondacks.”
