A woman has been arrested after a motorcyclist was killed in a crash involving a car on Page Blvd in Springfield.

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – A woman has been arrested after a motorcyclist was killed in a crash involving a car in Springfield on Saturday.


Officials investigating death of State Police recruit

According to the Springfield Police Department, on Saturday at around 2:45 a.m., officers were called to Page Boulevard and Rocus Street for a crash involving a motorcycle. When officers arrived, a motorcyclist died due to his injuries from the crash.

A disabled car was also found against the guardrail in the area of the crash with the driver, 39-year-old Precious Garrett of Springfield, outside the car.

Motor Vehicle Homicide – OUI-Liquor

The Springfield Police Traffic Unit in conjunction with the Hampden District Attorney’s Motor Vehicle Homicide Unit is investigating the crash. The identity of the motorcyclist has not yet been released.
