Hey there! So I’m currently in Bangkok and looking for a job in teaching. As I’ve noted, I have a master’s degree in Language teaching + 5 years of experience, but I’m not a native. Also, no experience of working in Asian countries. What salary can I expect?
I’ve got some offers, but all of them are in 35k+ baht/month range. The information available online very much varies: some say that it’s an OK salary for an eastern-european guy new to the country, and some say that it’s rather pathetic for someone with a degree and experience. So yeah, I would be grateful to hear about the experience the teachers around here have had.
